At the core of SIP
In SIP’s core programming, all your Groups can be part of a hierarchical structure with rules about the information flow between the Groups.

This is a huge fundamental difference from other collaboration services, where Groups are not placed in hierarchical structure.

It means SIP can exchange information related to the Groups placement in the overall hierarchy.

It means the setup follows your organization’s hierarchy.

 

For example, it could be that your headquarters is your highest-level Group. Under that you have regional Groups and each local office is then a Group under the regional Groups. Within each office, you finally have Groups that each consist of a clients team and your team for effective collaboration between you and the client.

Your rules might be so that each client Group cannot communicate with each other, but they can all be part of a selected dialogue with the office or headquarters. You can now have a perfect mix of Group relevance to local communication and simultaneously get the advantages of access to resources elsewhere in the organization, without compromising confidentiality, etc.

Your organization will utilize internal resources across these client Groups and all dialogue/training is continuously controlled and saved in a structured way.

You can customize the look of SIP so it feels like a natural part of your intranet with your logos everywhere. Customization is available from online presentations, all the way to the SIP box on the user’s computer. SIP can distribute information as an instant message AND email AND text messages to ensure receivers get the information. SIP also lets the sender know if the receiver has opened the SIP message.

Multimedia is an integrated part of SIP and you can use SIP as your internal information/training service by automatically placing all training videos in a library for Group members to watch when it’s convenient for them. At the same time, those who are responsible for training can get statistics on library use.
